Successful completion of three college-level
courses is required to qualify for a real esta
te salesperson examination:

Real Estate Principles, and
Real Estate Practice, and
One additional course from the following:

  • Legal Aspects of Real Estate
  • Real Estate Office Administration
  • General Accounting
  • Business Law
  • Escrows
  • Mortgage Loan Brokering and Lending
  • Computer Applications in Real Estate
  • Common Interest Developments

No more than two correspondence courses may be completed in any five-week period. (One course may be completed in 2 1/2 weeks.) The student should make certain the courses offered by the private school are approved by the Real Estate Commissioner and satisfies the pre-license education course requirements.
